Okay, so first off let's discuss how utterly gorgeous Daphne Groeneveld is. Oh my God. Her lips, her eyes, her hair, her whole entire being. Woah. She was obviously blessed with Dutch perfection. I bet she can even eat little adorable pastries and cakes and feel cute without feeling like a fat-ass. Damn this Daphne! No, i love her. She's too beautiful to hate.
I bet she just listens to that adorable song from the commercial and dances around being cute. I know she's not the girl in the commercial, but can't i just pretend so my dreams of this perfect Dior Daphne can be reality?
Onward to the commercial/film thingy. <3 <3 <3 <3 <3
Sweetest thing in the world. Maybe even sweeter than the Miss Dior Cherie commercial. Although it's hard to beat. I'd say it's a tie. The second Dior Daphne turns on the radio pure dreamy magic materializes right before your very dreamed out eyes.
Swoon.
Dior Daphne sweeps us up into her flirty, nice-smelling, lovely little world and wills us to smile and dance. I'm totally listening to the song from the video on repeat. It's called "I Love You Ono" by Stereo Total for anyone who's as obsessed as me.
I've also put together a little recreation of Dior Daphne's beach cupcake look:
ASOS Ram Bandeau Bikini Top |
ASOS Mix and Match High Waisted Bikini Pant |
UO South Of 5th Cat-Eye Sunglasses |
Heart Shaped Sunglasses |
Basic Scoop Neckline Tee |
ASOS Crop Trousers With Zip Pocket |
Cheap Monday Floppy Straw Hat |
Mint by Goorin Striped Sun Hat |
Vintage 1970s 1980s PLEATED Head Tennis SKIRT in Cherry RED |
The thing about the Dior Addict commercial is that it does it's job. I'm completely sold on buying the perfume just so i can pretend to be Dior Daphne. Beauty sells product, and as long as Dior keeps creating these lovely little ads and i get to keep watching, that's alright with me <3
Now I hope all of you fellow Americans are having/had a really festive 4th of July with loads of sparkly sparklers and firecrackers and maybe some ocean side Daphne inspired sitting. Oh, i hear the fireworks calling me!
milk + daisies,
