Last days...

So, I'm doing a series of posts on summer since it's so close to being over. Summer deserves at least a few, don't you think? Anyways, here is an assemblage of pictures displaying perfect summer vibes. Days in the sun picking flowers and sipping iced tea. Bathing suits and sand in your toes. Feeling happy. Licking ice cream cones and having them drip all down your arm. Frolicking in sweet summer dresses. That's all I beg for when I'm holed up in my room learning about cave men.

Summer's End

Today is a sad day. I have started school up again this week and today I began Biology. It was pretty boring except for a few bits and pieces that I actually understood... very few. Anyways, I thought I'd post the coolest schoolgirls I know from movies in honor of summer's end.

BAMBI, AGNES, AND DAISY

A tale of 3 English schoolgirls...

School days we wear out plaid skirts and docs and chat about the band that's playing next Friday. Weekends we prance around in our spotted dresses and cat-eyes and frolic around town. The time is filled with after school japanese market visits, ouija boards, and cd players. Afternoon tea and toast is a must and you can't leave the house without eyeliner. On sunny days we ditch school and take our floppy hats and polaroid cameras down to the seaside, our matching totoro backpacks bobbing on our shoulders. We attend the occasional party and get glamorous in our beaded frocks and feathered headdresses. We share lipstick and secrets and never brush our hair and everyday is always an uncertain adventure to escape the dull world. It's just us three and my fuzzy kittens dancing through life on bare feet through thrift stores and daisy forests, throwing glitter and blowing bubbles and seeing the world through kaleidoscope eyes.
