What a lovely day...

Hello! I love pictures! B&W are the best. And Miss Moss is also the very very best. I love, love, love these photos of her. They are all taken by Corrine Day. So amazing. Natural and fun and just lovely. I love Kate's freckles and her smile and everything about her. She's such a gorgeous model. I actually enjoy her older pictures more than her recent ones though. They are more raw and cool, and she wasn't such a model in the beginning, you know? What I think is most impressive about Kate Moss is that she's only 5'7. I mean, to be a model you have to be 5'9 or taller. Even then you won't necessarily be a big hit. But she became the buzz of the town on pure talent and personality. I don't think it gets much cooler than Kate.

    for me the first photo is the best.

    I can't choose between her photos when she was younger and now, they're very different styles and I like them both.

    COULD NOT AGREE WITH YOU MORE! Kate is super freaking amazing because she's not like a lot of the other models in the industry when she was younger, or now as well for that matter. She has a realness about her! And she isn't conventionally perfect which is so nice to see as well. Absolute goddess! xx

    I agree that Kate Moss looks more playful and organic in her earlier photos than those taken in modern day. Unfortunately, I think she still feels the pressure to look the same way she did as a child. Thus, her exhausted, anorexic figure. Although she is still a beautiful model and relevant style icon, I feel that the pressure she has put on her body to be "perfect" aka thin has begun to show in her facial expressions and jaded demeanor. These photos, however, are incredibly beautiful examples of her younger years, Savannah! Great post!

    I agree with you B&W photos are the best. They make you really focus on the subject. I have never seen the photos you posted of Kate Moss. What a sweety! I love that her teeth aren't perfect, yet she give the most toothsome smile. She unabashedly squints in the sunlight, she's real. You are right, her personality leaps out at the camera and oozes through the lenses and magically appears on paper. Keep on writing!
